Job Description

Since launching the business during the pandemic, our client have seen consistent year on year growth within their specialist sector. Following this rapid growth and shifting market demands, they have identified a need for a newly created division which is why they seek to recruit an Account Manager to join their fast-paced team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys structured, process-driven work and thrives in a busy environment while building and maintaining relationships.

This division works nationally, overseeing independent projects from start to finish within the construction sector. The role involves regular liaison with professionals on the ground, compliance tracking, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

The role consists of 3 key areas, client and candidate management, candidate resourcing and business development. You will proactively identify new clients, manage relationships, and secure new opportunities within your sector. You will build and manage a network of professional candidates via your resourcing skills and will oversee the full process from brief to placement, including proposals, contracts, and aftercare for both client and candidate.

Duties:

  • Receiving and reviewing client briefs, onboarding new clients and issuing new customer forms.
  • Preparing and sending out proposal packs.
  • Managing an Excel tracker for each project - from enquiry through to fulfilment, invoicing, and ongoing aftercare.
  • Engaging proactively with existing and prospective clients to understand pipeline opportunities.
  • Quality inbox management.
  • Advertising for and networking with professionals nationwide - on the phone, via email and during virtual meetings.
  • Managing compliance for both clients and customers.
  • Keeping clients up to date on projects.
  • Issuing contracts and tracking ongoing deadlines.
  • Supporting the development of social media content for the division
  • Liaising with legal professionals and insurers as required

We think you will enjoy this role if you:

  • Are genuinely happy in an office-based role, this is a fully office-based position Monday-Friday.
  • Have excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Enjoy customer service, aftercare, and account management.
  • Have some natural drive to chase opportunities and follow up on pipelines.
  • Want to learn and develop with a growing business.

Background:

If you have an understanding of engineering, construction or property - this would be advantageous. Alternatively, a recruitment background would work well in this role - if you have tried recruitment and are looking for a change, this could be the right next move. Ideally you will have strong IT skills including familiarity with MS package, excel, canva etc.

The Person:

You will have a positive outlook, be confident and friendly in your communication style and will enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and external clients. You will have a high level of accuracy and the ability to follow and complete a project from start to finish.

How to Apply:

Our client is recruiting now, so please do not delay. If this role sounds ideal for your next move, send us your CV or contact us immediately.

We cannot reply to every individual application, however if your experience fits the above criteria, we will make immediate contact.
