Your new company are a leader in their field based in Stoke on Trent and are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your new role

• Accountable for the preparation, review, and timely submission of monthly management information, including income statements and balance sheets, aligned with internal and group deadlines.
• Drove the financial planning cycle, coordinating annual budgeting and ongoing forecast updates, while translating financial data into clear insights to support decision-making.
  Played a key role in statutory year-end processes, supporting audit delivery and maintaining effective relationships with external assurance providers.
• Monitored and reported on short-term and medium-term cash position, producing regular cashflow analysis and providing pragmatic recommendations to support liquidity management.
• Ensured accurate and compliant completion of tax and payroll-related filings, including indirect and employment taxes.
• Developed, reviewed, and maintained costing models and standard cost data, supporting margin analysis and operational performance reviews.
• Partnered with operational and commercial teams to provide financial advice, challenge, and support across the business.
• Proactively identified opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and strengthen financial controls, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supported a variety of business projects and ad-hoc pieces of work, responding flexibly to changing priorities.
• Worked closely with senior stakeholders, contributing as an effective member of a multi-disciplinary finance team, fostering strong collaborative relationships.

What you'll need to succeed

• Part qualified CIMA/ACCA or finalist
• Excellent analytical and numerical abilities, including a high level of Excel.
• Strong Communicator
• Attention to detail
