Part Time - 20 - 25 hours a week over 4/5days (4/5 hours a day - flexi hours)

Based in Crawley with parking (office based)

£27,000 - £30,000 per annum (pro rata)

Tony Alan Recruitment currently has a new job opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join a well-established SME business based in the Crawley area on a part time, permanent contract.

You will support the day-to-day financial operations, with a particular focus on both sales and purchase ledger activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining customer records
• Posting daily receipts and ensuring accurate allocation
• Handling customer queries via phone and email
• Sending monthly statements
• Supporting credit control alongside the Finance Manager
• Maintaining supplier records
• Posting stock and overhead invoices in a timely manner
• Processing and reconciling weekly commercial credit card transactions
• Supporting a timely purchase ledger close
• Managing the finance inbox and answering incoming calls

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant role
• Strong team player
• High attention to detail
• Confident using Excel and general IT systems
• Highly organised
