Teaching Assistant Wanted in Warrington!

Location: All areas in and across Warrington (WA1 - WA15), Including: Town Centre, Stockton Heath, Lymm, Great Sankey, Culcheth, and Birchwood.
Start Date: ASAP or After Easter.

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our secondary school support teams as Teaching Assistants across Warrington. Requirements:

• Solid experience working with children or young people in settings such as schools, youth clubs, or child care.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with teenagers and staff.
• A calm, patient approach when handling challenging situations or complex needs.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).

Key Duties:

• Provide 1:1 and small group academic support for students aged 11-16.
• Assist class teachers in managing classroom behaviour and student engagement.
• Help deliver pre-planned lesson materials across various secondary subjects.
• Foster a positive, disciplined, and productive learning environment.
• Guide students through Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 curriculum goals.
• Act as a positive role model for teenagers within a mainstream school setting.
• Monitor and report on student attendance and academic participation.
