WELSH SPEAKING Teaching Assistant in Blackwood - Prospero Teaching

You will work closely with teachers to support pupils in a classroom setting, helping to deliver engaging lessons and providing one-to-one or small group support. A key part of this role is promoting and supporting the use of the Welsh language across the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching and learning activities in the classroom

• Assist pupils with additional learning needs

• Encourage and promote Welsh language use

• Help prepare classroom materials and resources

• Provide pastoral support to pupils as needed

Requirements:

• Fluency in Welsh (spoken and written)

• Experience working with children (preferred but not essential)

• A positive, patient, and proactive attitude

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
