Strategy Manager - Digital, Technology & Transformation

What You'll Be Doing
As Strategy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial success by optimising the organisation's technology strategy, portfolio, and people capability. You'll work within Business Management, Strategy & Transformation, providing strategic insight and direction to multiple domains.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Develop and manage the technology strategy for core functions, ensuring alignment with the wider organisational vision.
- Facilitate strategic planning across key business areas, ensuring strategy is cascaded effectively.
- Produce high-quality executive briefings on external market trends, industry shifts, and competitor activity.
Technology & Digital Transformation
- Shape the future of the Commercial & Institutional digital customer experience through data-driven insights and strategic decision support.
- Lead the development of domain-specific technology strategies that deliver clear customer outcomes.
- Support major technology transformation programmes with strategic communication and stakeholder engagement.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Influence decision-making at senior and executive levels through insight-driven recommendations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior technology leaders, articulating plans, strategic direction, and challenges clearly.
- Collaborate across technology, digital, and business teams to drive alignment across a diverse, global organisation.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Significant experience in technology strategy, business planning, or strategic change within a large organisation.
- Strong research, insight generation, and analytical capabilities.
- Deep understanding of the evolving digital and technology landscape, including tools, processes, and emerging trends.
- Proven ability to simplify complex technical concepts for senior leaders and governance forums.
- A collaborative, people-focused approach with experience influencing diverse stakeholders.
Highly Desirable
- Experience within banking, fintech, or wider financial services.
- Delivery experience across large-scale transformation programmes.
- A global organisational background or experience working across multiple regions.
