We’re recruiting a Trainee Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Secondary School in Burgess Hill, supporting children across KS3 and KS4 while completing a fully funded Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship.

• £10.00+ per hour (above standard apprenticeship wage)
• FREE Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (CACHE)
• Progression to Level 4 HLTA
• Full mentoring and support from Engage Education
• Practical, school-based training designed for Secondary settings

• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups
• Assist with phonics, literacy, numeracy, and interventions
• Help manage classroom behaviour and engagement
• Support children’s emotional and social development
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and resources

Requirements:

• Commitment to a 11-month apprenticeship
• GCSE Maths & English Grade C/4+ preferred
