CNC Multi-Axis Machinist in Southend-on-Sea - Response Personnel

A leading advanced high-precision manufacturing organisation, operating from centres of excellence in the UK and Poland, is seeking CNC Operators to join its team in Essex.
The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing high-precision components using predominantly 4- and 5-axis milling and turn/mill CNC machines, alongside general machining duties.
CNC Operator - Key Responsibilities:
? Setting and operating various multi-axis CNC machines.
? Inspecting parts using CMM and other inspection equipment to ensure compliance with engineering drawings.
? Following company procedures, operating standards, production methods, and safety guidelines at all times.
? Maintaining accurate logs of production issues, equipment problems, adjustments, and repairs.
? Maximising machine uptime through preventative maintenance measures (TPM).
? Maintaining a strong safety focus to ensure a safe working environment.
? Demonstrating flexibility to support production requirements.
? Collaborating effectively with other team members.
Skills & Behaviours:
? High attention to detail with a commitment to producing tight-tolerance, high-quality components manufactured to closely controlled specifications (including defence and aerospace standards).
? Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Skills & Experience:
? Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
? Experience working to high-quality standards on precision-engineered components.
? Knowledge of manufacturing safety regulations and procedures.
? Time-served apprenticeship and/or demonstrable relevant experience.

? 37 hours per week on a 3-shift rotation, Monday to Friday.
