Finance Assistant/Assistant Management Accountant in Bristol - Robert Half

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently supporting a business based North of Bristol, who are looking for an Accounts Assistant or Assistant Management Accountant to join their team.

This role presents an opportunity for an individual with previous finance experience and to contribute to the effective running of the finance function.

This opportunity is flexible depending on the candidate who joins the small and friendly team. The majority of the role will be looking after the accounts payable function, however more experienced candidates are able to get involved in more advanced duties

Start Date: End of Feb/Beginning of March

Accounts Assistant Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (Depending on experience)

Assistant Management Accountant Salary: £34,000 - £37,000 (Depending on experience)

Location: North of Bristol

Office Based for minimum 3 months - With opportunity for hybrid 1 or 2 days a week post training

Duration: 6 Months Temp, with possibility of extension or permanent

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable
• Preparing Payment Runs
• Inbox Queries
• Expenses

Further Tasks - Assistant Management Accounting :

• Accruals
• Prepayments
• Budgeting
• Quarterly VAT Returns

Skills/experience needed:

• Previous finance experience - Accounts payable as a minimum
• High attention to detail
• Big team player with a willingness to help the team
• Computer literate
