Think Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be partnering with a truly incredible, and rapidly growing business, to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their team.


This will be a varied finance role, with a mix of responsibilities, the main areas will be centred around billing and credit control.


This is a fantastic opportunity and is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of a forward-thinking culture and supportive environment.


The role requires you to come into the office for just one set day a week to meet with the team, the rest of the time you will be working remotely, so you must have somewhere suitable to work from home.


You must be comfortable building spreadsheets and using formulas using excel.


The Role
Responsibilities will include:

  • High-volume invoicing
  • Credit control and managing aged debt
  • Client contact and relationship management
  • Supporting month-end processes
  • Working with Xero and Excel
  • Assisting the wider finance team where needed


What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a transactional finance role (Sales Ledger / Credit Control / Accounts Assistant)
  • Confident working with high volumes
  • Comfortable communicating with clients professionally and patiently
  • Strong Excel skills (confident with formulas, reconciliations, data handling)
  • Experience using Xero or similar accounting systems
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Local to the office location
