Year 6 Teacher in Manchester - Prospero Teaching

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum, with a particular focus on literacy and numeracy. You will support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally, creating a positive and structured learning environment during this important stage of their education.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum.

• Support pupils with SATs preparation and assessment requirements.

• Track, assess, and report on pupil progress effectively.

• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners.

• Promote positive behaviour and high expectations.

• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents.

• Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 6.

• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessments.

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
