SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Cheadle (SK8)

Pay: £475-£550 per week, depending on experience

Start date: 23/02/2026

We are currently working with a large provision in the Cheadle area to recruit for experienced SEN teaching assistants. The SEN teaching assistant role is full-time, temp to perm, and will start after the February half term.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis, building strong rapport
• Maintaining regular communication with SLT and other staff members to monitor development
• Being involved in the creation and implementation of Education, Health Care plans (EHCPs)

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience supporting SEN, in a school or care setting
• Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
• A calm, nurturing nature

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
