Job Description

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a range of mainstream primary schools across Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom while gaining valuable experience in education.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils' learning and development. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups

  • Assisting with classroom activities and lesson delivery

  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

  • Supporting children with varying abilities, including those with SEND

  • Assisting with behaviour management and pastoral care

We're looking for someone who:
  • Has experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)

  • Is patient, proactive, and passionate about supporting young learners

  • Has strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Holds (or is willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS check

  • Can provide references covering the last two years
