Job Description

Selby Jennings are supporting a tech-forward specialty (re)insurer in the appointment of a senior actuarial leader to take ownership of property treaty reinsurance pricing within a commercially focused portfolio.

* Work closely with underwriting and portfolio management to influence pricing strategy and portfolio optimisation
* Carry out model validation, recalibration, and governance activity, clearly communicating impacts to stakeholders
* Collaborate with wider technical teams to introduce new data sources, techniques, and innovations into pricing
* Support external discussions with brokers and clients where senior pricing input is required
* Identify opportunities for growth, remediation, or strategic adjustment within the property treaty portfolio

Role Requirements

* Qualified actuary (FIA or equivalent), or significant senior pricing actuarial experience
* Strong experience leading property treaty reinsurance pricing within the Lloyd's or company market
* Proven track record owning complex deal pricing and influencing underwriting outcomes
