An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced audit professional to step up into an Audit Assistant Manager role within a fast-growing, forward-thinking Top 10 firm, with a strong and expanding Financial Services audit practice.
This role is particularly well suited to candidates with experience in, or an interest in, asset and wealth management, fintech, payments, crypto and digital assets. You'll join a collaborative London-based Audit team, playing a key role in managing assignments, supporting Financial Services clients, and developing junior team members.
What you will be doing as an Audit Assistant ManagerLead and deliver Financial Services audit engagements from planning through to completion
Manage audits for clients across asset management, wealth management, fintech, payments and crypto-related businesses
Build strong client relationships through regular interaction, resolving issues and managing expectations
Prepare and review draft statutory accounts, audit reports and completion memoranda, including practical recommendations for improvement
Review the work of junior team members, providing coaching, feedback and on-the-job training
Identify risks, regulatory considerations and opportunities for clients through the audit process
Support Managers and Partners with client delivery and ad-hoc Financial Services projects
ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
Strong UK audit and accounts experience gained within a professional services firm
Financial Services audit experience is highly desirable, particularly within asset management, wealth management, fintech or crypto
Confident supervising, delegating and reviewing work within a team environment
Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with Financial Services clients
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
