Robert Half is partnering with a leading organisation in the insurance sector that is currently undergoing a significant transformation across its finance and accounting functions.
They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to drive and support key finance transformation initiatives. This role is ideally suited to candidates with a strong finance background and a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, FCCA or equivalent), combined with proven project delivery experience.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and deliver finance transformation projects from initiation through to implementation, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.
Work closely with Finance, IT, Change, and senior business stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and track progress.
Support improvements across core finance processes such as record-to-report, controls, reporting, systems, and operating models.
Identify risks and dependencies, ensuring appropriate governance and regulatory compliance are maintained.
Drive process optimisation and standardisation across finance, embedding best practice and sustainable change.
Experience required:
Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, FCCA or equivalent).
Strong experience delivering finance transformation, finance change, or finance systems projects.
Background within insurance, financial services, or a complex regulated environment preferred.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance audiences.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering change in a collaborative environment.
