FINANCE MANAGER - 3 MONTH FTC - CAMBRIDGE HEATH - £60k - STRONG POTENTIAL TO GO PERM

Robert Half are delighted to be assisting an exciting client with their search for a full-time Finance Manager, for a 3 month FTC, with a strong potential to go permanent, offering up to £60k!

• Job Title: Finance Manager
• Location: Cambridge Heath
• Salary: Up to £60k
• Assignment length: 3 months (strong potential to go permanent)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare clear technical accounting papers and ensure all audit deliverables are met on time.
• Take ownership of balance sheet integrity across all entities.
• Review and post key journals.
• Oversee fixed assets, leases, loans and intercompany accounting.
• Monitor FX and support AP where needed.
• Improve month-end processes and strengthen financial controls.
• Apply strong knowledge of IFRS 9, IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
• Manage capex and maintain the fixed asset register (additions, disposals, transfers).
• Handle lease accounting, intangibles and system reconciliations.
• Manage revenue recognition in complex, project-based environments.
• Coordinate statutory and tax compliance across the UK, Australia, Japan, US, France and KSA.
• Oversee VAT/GST/Sales Tax and Corporate Tax filings.
• Work with local advisors to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
• Use NetSuite effectively.
• Enhance reporting accuracy and balance sheet transparency.
• Support ad hoc finance projects in a fast-paced, international environment.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong audit and/or technical accounting background.
• Experience managing group audits.
• Multi-entity, multi-currency experience.
• Strong balance sheet control.
• Comfortable operating in a project-based or construction-style environment.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented and commercially aware.
