Job Description

Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced St. James’s Place Paraplanner to join a growing, highly personable and forward-thinking wealth management practice operating on a fully remote basis.

This is a rare chance to join a small, close-knit firm at an exciting stage of growth, working directly alongside an established Adviser with a high-quality HNW client bank and a strong pipeline of new client acquisitions.

The Role

Working closely with the Adviser, you will take full ownership of the paraplanning function and support the ongoing delivery of holistic financial planning to a HNW client base.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing high-quality suitability reports in line with SJP standards
  • Producing detailed Voyant cashflow modelling and scenario planning
  • Pension, investment and retirement planning analysis
  • Supporting business acquisition integration and new client onboarding
  • Conducting research and technical analysis across SJP solutions
  • Working autonomously within a fully remote environment

This role will suit a technically strong, self-sufficient Paraplanner who enjoys working closely with an Adviser and being part of a growing, entrepreneurial firm.

Key Requirements

  • Proven St. James’s Place paraplanning experience (essential)
  • Strong Voyant cashflow modelling expertise (essential)
  • Diploma qualified (Level 4)
  • Minimum 2–3 years paraplanning experience
  • Able to work independently in a remote role
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and tax planning

The Opportunity

  • Salary £55,000 – £60,000
  • Fully remote working
  • Direct collaboration with the Adviser and leadership
  • Exposure to HNW and entrepreneurial clients
  • Growing firm with strong client acquisition strategy

Future Adviser Pathway

There is a clear long-term opportunity to move into an Advisory role within 2–5 years, and this can be written into the employment contract for the right individual.
