Senior Pricing Advisor in London - Ambition Europe Limited

This is a truly unique opportunity as a Senior Pricing Advisor - Complex Matters and GenAI where you would be joining a global law firm in their long-term plan to create and build up their AI Pricing team.

They are seeking a Senior Pricing Advisor to join their team at the forefront of complex matter pricing and GenAI-enabled service delivery. This role supports some of the organisation's most significant, high-value, and innovative matters.

You will partner with senior stakeholders, legal teams, commercial teams, and technology specialists to design and implement advanced pricing solutions for multijurisdictional and technologically sophisticated matters. As a trusted commercial adviser, you will bring analytical rigour, financial insight, and creativity-particularly where GenAI or alternative delivery models shape the client solution.

The role combines hands-on financial modelling with strategic advisory work and offers significant exposure across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pricing for complex, high-value proposals, including those involving GenAI-assisted delivery models
• Advise partners and matter teams on:
  • Pricing strategy and fee structures
  • Alternative fee arrangements (AFAs), hybrid pricing, and value-based pricing
  • Scenario analysis, margin modelling, and risk management
• Build bespoke financial models for high-stakes, time-critical proposals
• Develop and maintain standardised pricing tools and models
• Support major RFPs, competitive tenders, and pricing negotiations
• Collaborate with Legal Project Management, Legal Tech, Finance, and Billing teams to deliver robust, practical pricing solutions
• Contribute to best-practice frameworks, guidance, tools, and training
• Monitor market and technology developments, particularly in pricing innovation and GenAI

To be successful in this Senior Commercial Analyst role you must be a commercially minded pricing professional who enjoys solving complex problems and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Ideally, you will bring:

• Experience in pricing, commercial finance, or analytical roles (professional services experience desirable)
• Strong financial modelling capability and excellent numerical accuracy
• Exposure to AFAs or innovative pricing structures
• Confidence and credibility in discussions with senior stakeholders
