Job Description

A growing UK-based financial planning and personal wealth business is looking to appoint an experienced Financial Planner to join its expanding team. This role offers a blend of regulated advice, client engagement and financial wellbeing delivery, with clients primarily introduced through the workplace and referrals.

The Role

As a Financial Planner, you will work with clients to understand their financial circumstances and long-term goals, delivering tailored advice and high-quality outcomes. You’ll be supported by dedicated paraplanning and administration teams, allowing you to focus on client relationships and advice delivery.

You will also contribute to wider financial wellbeing initiatives, including webinars, seminars and guidance sessions delivered to employees of corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver 1:1 financial planning advice to clients across a broad range of needs
  • Provide financial guidance through workplace sessions, webinars and seminars
  • Generate new business through referrals and professional networks
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients
  • Conduct detailed financial reviews, risk profiling and fact-finds
  • Produce personalised financial plans using cashflow modelling tools
  • Research and recommend suitable products and solutions
  • Ensure all advice meets regulatory and compliance standards
  • Contribute ideas and expertise to support the growth of services and propositions
Essential Experience & Skills (Must-haves)
  • RQF Level 4 qualified (Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent)
  • Proven experience working as a regulated Financial Planner
  • Strong technical knowledge across financial planning
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Client-focused approach with a strong ethical mindset
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills
  • Confident IT user, including Microsoft Office
Desirable (Nice-to-haves)
  • Working towards RQF Level 6
  • Experience using Intelligent Office / Intelliflo
  • Experience delivering financial education or wellbeing sessions
