Finance Business Partner - 6 Months FTC in Leeds - Marks Sattin

Delighted to be exlcusively working with a long standing client who are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a 6 months FTC basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astitue Accountant who is immediatley available and looking for their next challenge.

About the role

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring alignment with group-wide objectives.
• Produce accurate cost forecasts, analyse key drivers, and highlight risks and opportunities.
• Deliver financial reporting, performance analysis, and KPI tracking to support improved business performance.
• Support CapEx forecasting, project modelling, month-end processes, and headcount management.
• Drive efficient cost management and apply strong governance to identify and mitigate business and financial risks.
• Collaborate regularly with Finance, HR, Procurement, Executive Leadership, and global teams to ensure aligned decision-making.
• Act as a trusted adviser on transformation and cost-saving initiatives while continuously improving processes and supporting automation.

About You

• Business Partnering experience in a commercial environment
• Part Qualified/Newly Qualified (CIMA / ACCA)
• Advanced user in Microsoft Excel/Strong analytical skills
• Comfortable working autonomously under own initiative and collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholders
• Determined, innovative and flexible with a strong work ethic
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A problem solving, analytical mindset with high attention to detail
• Highly numerate with ability to draw meaningful conclusions and drive actions from financial analysis
• Be effective at prioritizing activities, multi-tasking and working under pressure to deadlines
• Ability to do the detail but also summarise and articulate clearly to senior leaders
