External Reporting Accountant in Leeds - Marks Sattin

A well-established, multi-entity organisation is seeking a qualified finance professional to join its central team in a newly created reporting role. This position offers broad exposure across group-level reporting, statutory compliance, and technical accounting, with the opportunity to contribute to ongoing process improvements and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of monthly consolidated financial reports and executive-level summaries
• Assist with the production of statutory accounts and coordination of external audit activity
• Contribute to the development and documentation of finance processes and internal controls
• Provide technical accounting input on matters such as new standards and acquisition-related activity
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent and timely reporting across the group

Ideal candidate:

• Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Background in financial reporting, group finance, or external audit
• Strong working knowledge of UK accounting standards
• Strong Excel skills
