Management Accountant in Leeds - Elevation Recruitment Group

Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established and growing business based in Bradford as they look to appoint a commercially focused Management Accountant.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven finance professional who wants to move beyond pure reporting and truly add value. You’ll be joining a collaborative finance team in a business that is investing, evolving and keen to empower its people.

The Opportunity

This isn’t just a “produce the numbers” role. You’ll play a key part in shaping insight, improving processes, and supporting operational decision-making across the business.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, providing meaningful financial analysis and helping to drive performance. If you enjoy getting under the skin of the numbers and influencing outcomes, this role will give you the platform to do exactly that.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts with commentary and variance analysis
• Business partnering with operational and departmental managers
• Budgeting and forecasting support
• Balance sheet reconciliations and cashflow reporting
• Identifying process improvements and efficiencies
• Supporting year-end and audit processes
• Delivering insightful MI to aid commercial decision-making

About You

• Part-qualified or qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
• Previous experience in a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate financial information clearly
• Confident working with stakeholders outside of finance
• Proactive, detail-oriented and commercially minded
