A major international professional services organisation is looking for a Group Assistant Accountant to join its central Group Finance function. With operations across 50 countries and over 20,000 employees, this is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to gain exposure to complex, multi-entity, global reporting
What you'll be doing
- Support monthly Group consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet reporting
- Assist with annual statutory group and consolidated accounts preparation
- Review submissions from global subsidiaries & identify risks or inaccuracies
- Support intercompany reconciliations & balance sheet reviews
- Contribute to group-wide data gathering, analysis & audit preparation
- Provide training, feedback & support to regional finance teams
- Assist with group-wide projects and process improvements

What you'll bring
- AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA / CIMA
- Strong communication skills & confidence working with senior stakeholders
- Ability to work accurately to tight deadlines
- Experience in multi-currency or international environments (desirable)
- A continuous-improvement mindset & strong analytical skills
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, dynamic, global environment
