New year, new job. Are you a capable Civil Engineer looking to step away from rigid corporate structures and into a consultancy where your work is visible, valued and technically meaningful? This is an opportunity to join a well-established civil and structural engineering consultancy where engineers are trusted, supported and given room to progress.

You will be based in the London office, working as part of a strongly led civil engineering team while contributing to projects across the South East and wider UK. The workload is deliberately varied, covering everything from single dwelling extensions and bespoke residential schemes through to commercial, industrial, high-rise and large-scale residential developments of 500+ units. You will not be restricted to one sector and will gain broad, transferable experience.

The role

As a Civil Engineer, you will support the design and delivery of development infrastructure schemes from early feasibility through to technical approval.

Key responsibilities include:

* Preparing highways and drainage designs in line with UK standards
* Supporting S278, S38 and S104 submissions
* Producing drawings, calculations and technical reports
* Liaising with architects, clients and local authorities
* Assisting with Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
* Coordinating with senior engineers and contributing to project delivery
* Undertaking site visits and supporting construction stages

About you

This role suits a Civil Engineer with a solid consultancy background.

You will ideally have:

* A degree in Civil Engineering
* 2 to 5 years' UK infrastructure design experience
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD and drainage software
* Exposure to highways and drainage for development projects
* A proactive approach and strong communication skills
