Accounts Assistant in Hemel Hempstead - Think Accountancy and Finance

Think Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be partnering with an exceptional business based in Hemel Hempstead as the team grows to need a new Accounts Assistant.

This is genuinely an incredible organisation with a positive, collaborative culture and a strong sense of shared success. They are now looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and motivated finance team of three, reporting directly into the Finance Manager.

The Role

You will be involved in a broad range of finance duties including:

• Daily banking

• Bank reconciliations

• Posting purchase invoices

• Importing sales invoices

• Processing and adjusting direct debits

• Credit card reconciliations

• Setting up supplier payments

• Processing expenses

• Raising invoices

• Handling post and cheque processing

• First-line support for phone and email queries

This is a varied and hands-on role where attention to detail and strong organisation skills are key.

About You

• At least 1 year of experience within a finance or accounts department

• Experience using accounting software

• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong numeracy skills

• Confident communication skills across phone and email

• Able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
