We are working on behalf of a specialist SEN school in Kempston who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.
This role is ideal if you are:
- An experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, or
- A Psychology graduate (or similar) looking to gain hands-on experience
- Able to commute to Kempston
- If you're passionate about making a real difference to children with special educational needs, this could be the perfect opportunity.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs
- Provide 1:1 and small group support in and out of the classroom
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver personalised learning
- Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and confidence
- Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Caring, patient, and reliable
- Experience working with children (SEN experience desirable, not essential)
- A strong team player with a proactive attitude
- Able to commute to Kempston
