Assistant Accountant - Cumbernauld - Hybrid in Cumbernauld - Meraki Talent Limited

Meraki Talent is delighted to be exclusively supporting an established international manufacturing firm in their search for a permanent Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong accounts experience who is seeking further exposure to management accounts and wants to progress their career.

The Role:

This role will involve assisting with the production of management accounts reporting directly to the financial controller.

• Assisting with preparing monthly management accounts budgeting/forecasting and cashflow etc
• Bank recs and journal postings, double checking all ledgers.
• Preparing for month end, looking at departmental budgets, journal postings
• Balance sheet and intercompany reconciliation
• Fixed Assets
• Managing AP/AR function

Candidate Profile:

• Experience of assisting with preparing management accounts
• Strong interpersonal, organisational, and technical skills
• Proficient in Sage, Xero or similar and excel
