Interim Senior Finance Analyst

A well-established, internationally recognised organisation based in London is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join its Finance team on an interim basis.

This role sits within a high-performing FP&A function and will provide hands-on finance business partnering to Technology and project-led areas during a key delivery period. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing insight, challenge and robust financial information to support decision-making at senior level.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance business partner for Technology, IT and project teams
  
  
• Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts
  
  
• Deliver detailed variance analysis and clear financial commentary
  
  
• Manage and report on project expenditure, including OPEX and CAPEX
  
  
• Support business cases, investment appraisals and project documentation
  
  
• Maintain and develop financial models and reporting templates
  
  
• Work closely with non-finance stakeholders, translating financial data into meaningful insight
  
  
• Support year-end processes, including accruals, prepayments and audit queries
  
  
• Identify and implement improvements to finance processes and reporting
  
  

Skills & Experience Required

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  
  
• Proven experience in FP&A, finance business partnering or commercial finance
  
  
• Experience supporting technology, transformation or project environments
  
  
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
  
  
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
  
  
• Highly organised, analytical and able to deliver at pace
