Job Description
A large UK bank based in London seek to recruit an experienced Relationship Manager to join their front office Corporate Banking team, with a focus on covering the Food & Beverage/Consumer sector in the UK.
This will be a classic front office role, managing a diverse corporate client portfolio and offering a wide range of Corporate Banking products.
Ideal candidates should have proven relationship management experience, a solid market network across the Food & Beverage/Consumer sector in the UK and strong credit skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new business relationships across the Food & Beverage/Consumer sector in the UK
- Ownership, management and development a corporate client portfolio
- Market the banks relevant product offering (i.e. Lending, Trade & Working Capital Finance, Cash Management, DCM etc)
- Prepare detailed credit proposals to be submitted to committee
- Cross sell the banks broader CIB product offering
- Work alongside product partners to structure various financial solutions
- Act as a brand ambassador for the bank
- Develop market strategy and grow market share
- Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders (i.e. Legal, Risk, Compliance etc)
Key Skills:
- A proven track record of successful client relationship management and business development
- A strong network of contacts across the corporate Food & Beverage/Consumer market
- Solid credit analysis skills
- Experience working in a large Corporate Banking environment
