Manager - Model/Systems Development in London - eFinancialCareers

Growing international insurance and risk consultancy is seeking talented systems/model development specialists who combine actuarial knowledge with expertise across a range of programming languages (e.g. Python, R, SQL, Snowflake)

As part of the Life actuarial team you will apply your technical skills and problem-solving capabilities across a variety of models, developing solutions for clients.

Unlike large-scale transformation projects seen in Big 4 consultancies, this team tends to work with self-contained small builds with a focus on optimisation, automation and process improvement.

Recent projects have included BPA models to optimise investment strategy and asset/credit work.

There will also be the opportunity to manage and develop junior team members, providing guidance while remaining hands-on.

An actuarial background is key but FIA qualification is not essential (happy to consider candidates qualified by experience)
