Description
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the accounting & finance team to improve processes.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Manage financial data entry and maintain organised records.
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in venture capital, private equity, or investment finance
- CIMA or ACCA part-qualified, with clear progression underway
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong Excel capability and confidence with financial systems
- Solid understanding of core accounting principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
