Learning Support Assistant in Liverpool - Tradewind Recruitment

If you are passionate about supporting pupils with Special Education Needs thrive in their education, Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for dedicated and compassionate SEND LSAs to join our partner Mainstream Primary Schools in South Liverpool.

These Full Time positions will require you to provide 1:1 and Small Group support to pupils to help them in both an academic and personal capacity.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and small group support to children with a range of Special Educational Needs.
• Help carry out and review IEPs
• Work closely with Teachers, parents and external professionals to develop techniques to best support each pupil
• Provide a positive, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment

Who we are looking for:

• Someone with previous experience supporting children with SEN either in an educational or support worker capacity
• A resilient and caring nature
• An excellent understanding of safeguarding processes
• Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour
• Strong communication skills and an enthusiasm to get children involved with school
