Randstad Education is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to join our team, supporting wonderful schools in the L37 area (Formby). We offer a variety of placements to suit your availability, ranging from immediate day-to-day cover to stable, long-term, and full-time positions.

We are seeking candidates who meet the following essential criteria:

• Essential Experience: A minimum of six months' paid experience working with Primary-aged children in a UK school setting, OR relevant volunteering experience and qualifications.

• Flexibility: Must be flexible and available for various types of work, including long-term, full-time, and day-to-day assignments.

Compliance:

• Possession of an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is mandatory.
• Full eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting the class teacher and pupils across various year groups. Your duties may include:

• Providing one-to-one and small group support for learning activities.

• Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation and administration.

• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.

• Supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) where required.

• Supervising children during lunch and playtimes.
