We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant to provide learning support for pupils within a welcoming and supportive primary school. The successful applicant will join a dedicated staff team committed to developing the talents and skills of every child, enabling them to achieve their full potential.

Role Responsibilities

The successful Teaching Assistant will:

• Support pupils with their learning across the primary age range
• Work with children individually and in small groups, including delivering targeted interventions
• Support pupils with SEND, adapting approaches to meet individual needs
• Help maintain high standards of learning, teaching, and behaviour
• Promote positive behaviour and inclusive practice
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, other professionals, and families
• Make a caring and positive contribution to the classroom and wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND
• The ability to inspire, motivate, and engage children in their learning
• Experience running small group interventions
• High expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
• The ability to work independently and use their own initiative
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• A flexible, patient, enthusiastic, and caring approach
• A strong commitment to teamwork and partnership working
