Teaching Assistant in Scunthorpe - Tradewind Recruitment

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Teaching Assistants to work in long-term role in a Secondary Schools located on the outskirts Scunthorpe. The position is working 1:1 with a student with SEMH and SEN needs.

The ideal candidate should be able to work with pupils with additional needs and understand ECHPs and IEPs.

The role will include the following:

• Supporting pupils with additional needs in small groups or 1:1
• Encourage and engage students in the classroom
• Uphold high expectations in the classroom and ensure behavioural policies are implemented
• Work with SEND pupils that have ECHPs and IEPs

During your time with Tradewind, we will support you with CPD Trainings provided by the National College, aswell as an excellent service, competitive pay, and regular check ins.

To apply for this role, you must have the following:

• Experience working in a school.
• Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the Update Service
• Right to work in the UK.
• Satisfactory References.

The rate for this role can be paid to scale, daily rate ranges between £90 - £105 per day.
