Salary: £33,000 basic + OTE £45,000+ in Year 1

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Our client is a well-established recruitment business with a strong reputation across both permanent and temporary markets. They are now seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of a busy temps desk, supplying industrial staff across warehousing, logistics, manufacturing and related sectors. This is a fast-paced, delivery-focused role with scope to grow into team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of industrial clients, building long-term relationships through trust, responsiveness and results.

• Source, screen and place temporary candidates into roles with speed and accuracy, ensuring compliance and fit-for-purpose placements.

• Maintain regular client contact to forecast staffing needs, manage bookings and resolve service issues.

• Write and post compelling job adverts across platforms including Reed, Totaljobs and CV-Library.

• Conduct candidate registrations, right-to-work checks and onboarding documentation.

• Maintain accurate records via the CRM and ensure full compliance with AWR, GDPR and internal policies.

• Participate in out-of-hours rota (if applicable) to support client needs and candidate availability.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant, ideally within the industrial or temps market.

• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage client expectations under pressure.

• Confident communicator with a proactive, delivery-driven mindset.

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
