Management Accountant / Accounts Assistant in Woking - Mature Accountants ltd

A well-established and growing sports sector business, based in Woking, is looking to hire an additional finance professional to join their team of three, the business has a total of twenty employees.

The role is flexible in scope and can suit either a Management Accountant or a more junior Accounts Assistant / AR-focused profile.

Working pattern: Hybrid – 2 days in the office, remainder remote

Role Options

Option 1 – Management Accountant / Finance Manager

Salary: Circa £40,000

Option 2 – Accounts Assistant / AR

Salary: £30,000–£32,000

Assignment Details

Role Options

Option 1 – Management Accountant / Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

Month-end close and management accounts

Budgeting and forecasting

Financial analysis and reporting

Supporting senior management with commercial insight

Option 2 – Accounts Assistant / AR

Responsibilities:

Accounts receivable and sales ledger

Bank reconciliations

Assisting with AP and general finance tasks

Supporting the wider finance team

Skills Required

• Systems & Experience
• Part qualified Accountant / studier ( ACA,ACCA,CIMA,AAT) would be an advantage
• Experience in a finance role (level dependent)
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience desirable
• (The business is migrating from Xero to Dynamics 365 within the next 2 months)
