Year 2 Teacher in Oldham - Prospero Teaching

As a Year 2 Teacher, you'll plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum, ensuring all pupils are supported, challenged, and inspired to succeed. You'll create a positive learning environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver creative lessons in line with the national curriculum.

• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.

• Assess and track progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents.

• Foster positive behaviour and a supportive classroom culture.

• Collaborate with colleagues, teaching assistants, and leadership to enhance pupil outcomes.

• Uphold safeguarding and inclusion policies at all times.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 2 desirable).

• Excellent understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks.

• Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
