Title: Stocks (Reconciliations) Coordinator (Part-Time)

Salary: £31,500 - £35,000 per annum (pro-rated for 20 hours, approx. £20,000)

Location: Preston - 4 Days in Office, 1 Day WFH (4 hours per day)

Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Reconciliations Administrator to support their commercial operations and finance processes. This part-time role is ideal for someone with strong numerical accuracy and experience within stock, finance, or administrative environments.

Working 20 hours per week, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate stock records, supporting month-end processes, and assisting with customer order and invoice queries.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate daily and monthly stock reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Complete monthly material mass balance checks, ensuring all stock movements are recorded within month-end deadlines.
  • Coordinate month-end activity across sales, supply, stock, and purchasing to support accurate financial reporting.
  • Support customer order processing, including order entry and resolving order and invoice queries.
  • Provide occasional cover for sales order taking and general administrative tasks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to support operational and financial controls.
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve issues promptly and ensure smooth operational workflow.

Requirements:

  • Strong IT skills, with solid knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Experience within finance administration, stock control, reconciliations, or a similar accuracy-focused role.
  • High attention to detail with strong numerical capability.
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to work across teams.
  • Able to work independently, prioritise tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
