QUALITY LINESIDE ENGINEER

• £42.84 per hour via Umbrella + overtime premiums
• On-site in Broughton - 35 hour week
• Monday to Thursday - 8:45pm to 6:00am
• Initial contract until November 2026
• BPSS clearance eligibility required

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Lineside Engineer to join their team.

THE QUALITY LINESIDE ENGINEER ROLE:

As a Quality Lineside Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of product safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. You will be the first point of contact on the shop floor for quality issues, supporting investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. The role will also involve process improvement initiatives, operational surveillance, and predictive quality activities, while coaching and supporting shop floor operations.

QUALITY LINESIDE ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Strong background in Quality Engineering, ideally within aerospace or complex manufacturing
• Experience with investigations, root cause analysis, and process improvement
• Ability to manage and close non-conformities, and provide technical quality expertise to the shop floor
• Ability to problem solve and use associated problem-solving tool sets (PPS, 5Y, Ishikawa etc)
• Excellent communication, team working, and adaptability skills
