I’m working with a respected independent firm in Northampton that is planning ahead for its next phase of growth. They’re looking for someone who enjoys the mix of accounts, tax, client meetings, problem-solving and helping support a small team.

• Managing your own portfolio of SME clients
• Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts, tax returns and VAT
• Being the “go-to” advisor for clients who want practical, commercial guidance
• Helping clients plan, forecasting, cashflow, growth conversations
• Supporting juniors with reviews, sign-offs and development
• Spotting opportunities to improve processes and client service

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or QBE with strong practice experience)
• Someone who likes responsibility and client interaction
• Comfortable managing deadlines across multiple clients
• Technically solid with a personable, down-to-earth approach
• Someone who wants to be part of a friendly, growing team

• £45k–£50k depending on experience
• Genuinely supportive culture, no long-hours culture

• Recruitment is ahead of time ideal start early 2026, but flexible
