Job Description

My client is seeking an experienced Systems Accountant with strong NetSuite expertise to support a major finance transformation programme. This role will focus on system optimisation, process improvement, multi-entity integration, and the redesign of core finance workflows across the Group.

This is an excellent opportunity for a NetSuite-qualified accountant who excels in change environments and enjoys partnering across Finance, IT, and Operations to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead NetSuite optimisation and enhancements, including configuration updates, reporting improvements, workflow automation, and user support.

  • Serve as the Group's finance systems expert, driving best practice and improving adoption across all entities.

  • Deliver finance process improvement projects focused on efficiency, control, and standardisation.

  • Support integration activities linked to acquisitions and multi-entity consolidation.

  • Review, map, and redesign finance processes to create scalable, future-proof solutions.

  • Troubleshoot system issues and identify opportunities to streamline processes.

  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Operations to embed new processes and system changes effectively.

  • Produce high-quality documentation, SOPs, and training materials.

  • Monitor new processes post-implementation and refine improvements as needed.

  • Promote a culture of timely, accurate, deadline-driven delivery.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).

  • Hands-on NetSuite experience, including configuration, workflows, reporting, and user support.

  • Proven background as a Systems Accountant, Finance Systems Specialist, or hybrid finance/technology role.

  • Experience in finance process redesign, systems improvement, or ERP enhancement projects.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to challenge existing practices constructively and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • A track record of delivering projects on time and to a high standard.

Desirable Attributes
  • Experience working in multi-entity, group, or private-equity-backed environments.

  • Exposure to ERP migrations, integrations, or system rollout programmes.

  • Strong commercial awareness, balancing control, efficiency, and growth.
