Temporary to Permanent Assistant Accountant in Solihull - Mitchell Adam

My client is a national wholesale business and they have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a temp to perm basis.

Working in a medium-sized finance team and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will have a varied position and be responsible for providing support in all areas of the accounts team inclusive of purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, assistance with the management accounts, budgets, accruals, prepayments, VAT, and payroll. This is an exceptional opportunity for a budding Accountant to join a business that will provide you with exposure to all areas of the finance function and provide study support once you become permanent.

Ideally you will:

• Be AAT qualified or equivalent
• Already have a strong level of all-round accounts experience
• Be an intermediate user of Excel, with the ability to create Pivot Tables and V Lookups
• Be fiercely ambitious and be looking to continue your studies in ACCA/CIMA
