About the Role
This role supports learners with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and achieve meaningful progress. You’ll work closely with teaching staff to create a calm, structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN needs
- Assist with classroom activities, interventions, and small-group learning
- Help maintain positive routines and behaviour expectations
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs on pupil progress
- Support with personal care where required
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant UK education experience
- Strong understanding of SEN support strategies
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Relevant CPD is desirable
- Confident working with pupils of varying needs
