Financial Controller - 12-Month FTC High-Impact Role with a Market Leader

We're partnering with a renowned brand known for its high-performing finance function to recruit an experienced Financial Controller for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role, reporting directly to the Finance Director and driving excellence across statutory reporting, financial controls, and technical accounting.

Remit:

• Manage and develop a team of seven, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
• Own the statutory financial reporting process, including quarterly submissions and the Annual Report
• Provide expert guidance on IFRS and complex accounting matters to senior stakeholders
• Lead both external and internal audit processes, ensuring smooth coordination across the Finance team
• Maintain and enhance financial controls, driving compliance and continuous improvement
• Oversee tax compliance and reporting, working closely with external advisors on complex issues

Experience needed:

• Qualified accountant with strong experience to gain controllership of a high performing reporting team
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting
• Proven leadership in financial reporting, audit, or controls within a fast-paced environment
• Confident communicator with stakeholder influence
