Financial Planning Analyst in Hertford - Investigo

Due to continued growth my Herts based client with a superb culture and Hybrid working is hiring a newly created role as Financial Planning Analyst.

Whilst reporting into the Financial Controller with a dotted line into Commercial Finance you initially support the Finance function across broad accounting duties and in time your focus will switch to FP&A and Commercial Finance, making this the perfect step into industry for a practice qualified accountant looking to go the decision support route.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Financial Controller in broad day-to-day accounting activities.
• Management Accounting.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Deliver ad hoc accounting projects as required.

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Conduct margin analysis and provide insights to drive profitability.
• Contribute to financial modelling and scenario planning.
• Investment Appraisal
• Ad-hoc Analysis

Candidate Profile:

• Recenty qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong technical accounting skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt and grow into a more analytical, commercially focused role.
• Intermediate/advanced Excel
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
