We are seeking a qualified or newly qualified Audit Senior to join our expanding team based in Warrington on a full-time basis. This position offers a salary in the range of £36,000-£38,000, together with excellent benefits and genuine opportunities for professional advancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage a portfolio of audit engagements

  • Lead and review audit assignments to ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards

  • Supervise and support junior members of the audit team

  • Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships

  • Monitor job progress, budgets, and billing targets

  • Ensure work is completed to a consistently high standard within agreed timeframes

  • Utilise accounting software including IRIS, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks

  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as required

Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA), or newly qualified, with a minimum of three years' experience in a practice environment

  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK audit regulations and accounting standards

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels

  • Strong commercial awareness and professional judgement

  • Full UK driving licence

Remuneration and Benefits
  • Salary: £36,000-£38,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience
