The Opportunity

Our client is a highly respected, rapidly expanding food manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and investment in people. With a major site in Warrington and a key operational site in Liverpool, the business is continuing to scale - and they're now looking for a confident, commercially driven Management Accountant to join their high-performing finance team.

This is a standout opportunity for someone who wants to step up, gain broader responsibility, and position themselves for future leadership. You'll partner closely with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams across both sites, adding real value in a fast-moving environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Taking full ownership of monthly management accounts, analysis, and reporting
• Providing financial insight to operational stakeholders across Warrington and Liverpool
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning cycles
• Deep-dive analysis into production, variances, and efficiencies
• Business partnering to drive performance and margin improvement
• Helping shape financial processes as the business continues to grow

What We're Looking For

• A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with solid management accounting experience
• Strong experience within FMCG - food manufacturing experience is highly desirable
• A proactive, commercially minded finance professional who enjoys getting out into the business
• Someone confident communicating at all levels and challenging stakeholders when needed
• Experience in a fast-paced, multi-site operation is a huge advantage
