CRA Consulting are working in partnership with a well-known, reputable law firm based in the heart of Sheffield city centre, seeking to appoint a Claimant Clinical Negligence Solicitor.

This is a superb opportunity to join an established clinical negligence team handling a high-quality, predominantly multi-track caseload. You'll work with a supportive team, dealing with complex and sensitive matters while making a real difference to injured clients and their families.

• Manage your own caseload of claimant clinical negligence files from inception to settlement/trial
• Assess liability, quantum and merits, instructing experts and counsel as appropriate
• Draft pleadings, schedules, witness statements and instructions to counsel/experts
• Attend conferences, settlement meetings and mediations
• Provide empathetic, clear and practical advice to clients
• Contribute to business development and the wider profile of the team

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with claimant clinical negligence experience
• Strong technical skills and experience running your own caseload
• Excellent client care, with a sensitive and empathetic approach
• Strong communication, organisation and file management skills
• Able to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team

• Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 DOE + bonus scheme
• Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays plus Christmas shutdown
